Strong coffee flavor and aroma with low acidity. We use a shower drip maker and grind to a medium daily. When camping or traveling we use French press, which strengthens the mouth feel as fines are added, but the coffee still doesn’t overpower. When brewed, soft and nutty nose, slightly sweet chocolate with clean and sweet finish. This blend maintains its strong dark character without becoming a bitter beast. It does not have any fruit and berry notes or tastes (like the profiles of other prominent Portland coffee roasters), and thus none of the acidity. This is our full-bodied, flavorful, and satisfying daily cup.
